The Italian Renaissance
The Renaissance is the result of the dissemination of ideas of humanism, which determined a new conception of man and the world.
With this, a new way of seeing the world and the human being started, with the interest in the arts, politics and sciences, revising medieval theocentrism and replacing it with a certain anthropocentrism.
The Renaissance was a period of great cultural change and achievement that began in Italy in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, reaching its peak at the beginning of the sixteenth century. It lasted nearly 200 years and represents the transition from the medieval world to the modern world.
The Italian Renaissance is best known for its achievements in painting, architecture, sculpture, literature, music, philosophy, science and exploration, and today I'm going to show you a few of the most recognized paintings.
